TTNAS Backup privacy information
Data and purpose
This owner-operated app reads authorized NAS files and uploads them to the owner’s Google Drive account for backup. It uses Drive file names, sizes, modification times, checksums, folder relationships and storage quota to perform copying, verification and restoration. The Google permission is drive.file, limited to the specific Drive files used with this app.
Storage and access
Current backup files and replaced versions remain in the owner’s Drive account. Protected server logs may contain file paths, counts, sizes and errors. Sample restore files are downloaded to the backup server for hash verification. OAuth credentials are stored in the local rclone configuration for unattended access.
Sharing and use
The workflow sends backup contents and required metadata to Google Drive. It does not make files public, change their sharing permissions, sell backup data, or use backup contents for advertising or AI model training.
Retention and control
There is no automatic deletion of old versions or destination-only files. The owner controls deletion, can stop the scheduled task and can revoke Google Account authorization. Revoking access does not delete existing backup files.
